5.1 Sound How?

Hello,
So I have a Asus P5NE-SLI Motherboard with an SPDIF Out. I also have a Samsung 5.1 Home Theater system with a optical in, component in, and standard RCA in(s).

My question is, how/what do I need to be able to get the sound from my computer to go through all 5 of my stereo speakers including subwoofer through my receiver? Can I use an SPDIF to optical? Im really stuck right now..

hi there,

you need to purchase an external sound card 5.1

it supports optical input and output

then use it directly with usb cable
