Hello,

how to partition vaio laptop & install xp in the new partition.
also is it possible to have both the os on the same single partition.

you have to install Vista First .. then install XP.. you can have them both on the same Hard Drive. But not the same partition. This is not easy though.. they don't play nice together. There is some software out there that helps to make it easier though I forget the name.
