How to reset the dhcp of my internet connect Solved/Closed

computer novice here, looking for how to renew to dhcp of my broadband connection from the command prompt rather that going in to the router or pulling it out at the power or is this a proble,m with the modem or isp?

Hello there,

To renew your IP

Open the command prompt, 

Click on Run > CMD

Type: ipconfig /release

Then type: ipconfig /renew
