Digital camera videos to cellphone

Hello,
I've some videos taken from my digital camera and I want to transfer them to my cellphone. I tried several times but the video just won't play on my cellphone. I tried to change the extention file from. thm to .avi. Am I doing it the wrong way? Please help.

hi there,

you need to have the video file player installed or codec

and for mobile phones

it must be converted to 3gp or mp4
