My pc wont load

anyone help with this problem?

my computer(windows xp) wont load past the boot screen when it does it just stays on a black screen.
i have tryed to put the windows xp disk in but it wont load up it apears to load but it just says it says setup is inspecting your computers hardware configuration's and then just stays goes to a black screen again.
it wont load up in safe mode
help???

People here often get these kind of supernatural problem, maybe it's your HDD, buy another one...

nah dont think its a hardware problem think its something to do with the software is there any other way of formating your pc without the xp disk because that wont load up?
