My CD/DVD drive E is not playing on my IBM

Hello,
I have a IBM thinkpad and the cd player is no longer on my computer how do i reinstall this so that i can play CD music from my IBM think pad

Dear Sir,

You have to verify is the CD/DVD drive isn't disabled on your BIOS settings,

Just set your BIOS settings to default then try again
