How to setup external monitor

Hello,
I have VAIO (XP) machine but i cant read anything on the screen, laptop screen is too dim or looks like faded. What i want to do is, i have another Toshiba (Vista) laptop which is working fine, i want to display the VAIO(XP) machine`s screen on the Toshiba(Vista) machine. Any ideas please.

Hello,

Unless you have a video adapter hardware on your toshiba laptop, it will difficult, i suggest that you simply plug the sony laptop in a normal monitor to work
