Boost up download speed

Hello, i want to ask about boost up download speed.how can i boost up download speed? i'm using wireless router, and my friend had tried it and it worked.he says that he's using some sort of dos batch file to do it.can u help me arrange the batch file to boost up download speed?

It's nice information about download speed..I found this site http://www.ip-details.com/ for check the speed test..I check my speed test in this site...
