Blue Screen

Hello,

I'm having a serious problem. I have the original Windows XP CD and when I run it on the pc, it won't let me repair my problem or install windows xp all over again. I get the blue screen with the message "disable or uninstall any anti-virus or back up utilities. check your hard drive configuration and check for updated drivers. run chkdsk/f to check for hard drive corruption abd restart".

How can i do that if it won't let me reboot in safe mode, safe mode with command prompt or last known configuration
