My USB is not even read

I have been trying some days, weeks, nearly a month... well... a month already.
My problem is that the procedure does not work, as the USB is not read. Normally they have a led on, and none of them is on in none of the USB ports. I have tried so many things already: 5 USB pen drives, a card reader with a FAT Compact Flash, an external hard drive... none of them is read.

I don't have the warranty... so any suggestions? I'm even considering to buy a chip with the BIOS and replace them.
