XP disc

Hello,

yes, I have an XP disc, but it will not even read it...but will the Vista....read my earlier post...can't get past this and I think its got a virus...but I don't have a clue as to what or how to rid the pc of it without going and paying money...I might as well get a new HD....! I am still contemplating on what I should do...I am about to just trash it and buy her a new one...! I am frustrated....can you tell! Thanks again for answering!
