Msn won't work Closed

Question

Hello, everyone i hope you can help me
i had msn messenger 8.5 and last night it wouldn't let me sign in unless i downloaded the newer version
so i started to but then it froze and took to long so i cancelled the download. then i tried to download the older version (after deleting all the messenger files that i had on my computer) but it wouldnt work. it said i still had the newer version saved in my computer but i know i deleted it. then i tried downloading the newer version again but that won't work either...please does anyone know how to fix this problem? I really need my msn messenger back! thanks in advance

Dear Sir, 

Please uninstall Windows Live Messenger from the Add& Remove Programs option in your Control Panel, 

Then i will advise you using the Windows Live Messenger 8.5 version

Please download it here:

Then please set your time and settings settings correctly, 

Also check your timezone and then add the Windows Live Messenger program in the exception list in your Firewall Settings
