my is nelson,my problem is when i was trying to enter this symbol @ by holding shift together with number two ,that symbol does not appy,so i need your sopport.type of laptop is toshiba l300

you need to change the keyboard
language setting
follow these steps:
open control panel
Open Clock Language and Region
click on Regional and Language Options
click the Keyboards and Languages tab and
then click Change keyboard
choose English us
