DVDs with light scribe label cannot be read

Hi,
when creating a light scribe label for DVDs with my external dvd writer SE-S224, I'm having trouble reading the files. It appears to be a random problem, sometimes I can read the DVDs, sometimes not. 'Normal' DVDs seem to work ok.
Does anyone know anything about this, or have similar problems?
