Monitor will not read mouse or keyboard

Hello,
I cleand my computer last night and when I was putting all my wire's back in place and turned the PC back on the Monitor comes on b/c the light is on but it say's it's in safe mode and the mouse and keyboard are wireless and I don't think it's picking them up what do I do to fix this.

hi there,

recheck the mouse and keyboard connection

may be you plugged it wrong port like mouse in keyboard and vice versa
