Hello,
i have recently put together a small pc for my son for him to do homework ect on, its an
INTEL DESKTOP BOARD D815EEA
512 MB RAM
20 GB HD (SEAGATE ATA III) -WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL
733 MHZ PIII PROCESSOR-PGA370 SOCKET
KTX FAN WITH COOL-MASTER HEATSINK
BLISS ATX 250 PWR SUPPLY

I'm having a problem with when i try to install extra ram (being 2 x 256 pc 133) into the 2 spare DIMMS, it is not reconising the extra RAM i have installed "ALONG SIDE THE 512MB ALREADY INSTALLED"

would it be because the processor's can't handle 1GB? ram setup wrong ? (although i have tried 4 differant processor's and still no go for the ram(all 797 mhz and under)

and is there a more powerful faster etc like is there a p4 in the family that will fit the PGA-370 SOCKET? maybe AMD ?????????????????
