Hello,
I Have a Toshibs laptop Satelite . Sometimes when I am typing numbers appear instead of letters. The only way I can stop the numbers from appearing is if I hold down the Fn key., otherwise it continues to type numbers for some letters. It doesn't happen with all letters just some. I am looking how to fix this problem so that I dont have to keep holding the Fn key down all the time.

Please check you NumLock (or NumLK) key/status. Laptops often have a numeric keypad that is turned on with the NumLock key. the u i o - j k l - m keys will enter 4 5 6 - 1 2 3 - 0 when NumLock is turned on. You need to find the NumLK key on you laptop. It might be Fn + F3 (on my Dell) or Fn + Scr LK (on my Compaq) or some other combination of Function (Fn) and another top row key. It should toggle off if you you enter the NumLK sequence for your laptop.

Good Luck
