No audio found?!

Hello,
I went to free up some space and accidentaly deleted my audio from my computer. i have a windows xp-thinkpad. i deleted something called soundmax. i dont have a cd to redownload it. i tried a system restore but it just says that it isnt possible. i tried to go to the audio thing in my control panel, but it is all grayed out and wont let me click anything. i have absolutely no sound on my computer! please can anyone help me. any help would be great!

Dear Sir,
You will have to download the driver from your manufacturer's website!
Or you just have to Restore your system to a previous date to get back your sound!
To do System restore:
Click on Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools
Open System Restore
Select a date when your sound device was still present
