G'day all im unsure weather it could be done or not but here goes
i have a 20 GB hard drive installed on a spare computer that my son use's to do home work
now im wondering if i CAN transfer the complete os to a LARGER hd being a SEAGATE ATA IV 60Gb 7200 RPM( MODEL ST360021A) due to the fact that the old hard drive is EXTREAMLY NOISY!!!! hi there,

you need to clone the drive

use link below and download acronis cloning software:

https://ccm.net/download/download-4045-acronis-true-image-home

clone the drive to a cd and restore to new hard drive

Thanks
