G'day all im unsure weather it could be done or not but here goes
i have a 20 GB hard drive installed on a spare computer that my son use's to do home work
now im wondering if i CAN transfer the complete os to a LARGER hd being a SEAGATE ATA IV 60Gb 7200 RPM( MODEL ST360021A) due to the fact that the old hard drive is EXTREAMLY NOISY!!!! IF SO PLEASE DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW I GO ABOUT DOING SO???

hi there,

you need to clone the drive

use link below and download acronis cloning software:

https://ccm.net/download/download-4045-acronis-true-image-home

clone the drive to a cd and restore to new hard drive

Thanks
