You can't do it when the link to the cell is imbedded within a formula. For example, when you type this for a formula in a cell
="11-05100-0"&B3
where the cell B3 equals 8/31/09
it comes out looking like
11-05100-040056
when I need it to look like
11-05100-08312009
Anybody have any ideas?
