Hello,

I am running on a Inspirion 6400 Dell. I used to have Vista Home on this machine.. For some reason ( poor judgement om my part0 we decided to reinstall the machine with vista. So we deleted partitions and reformated and started reinstalling with the original CD's that cam with the machine

I have changed the BIOS to A17, the LCD was changed once but the video shows fine while installation

What i see is on the Installing windows Screen
The Files are copied, and the machine reboots one and then shows message booting in vista for firts time, comes back to the install screen the video flickers and then after a 3/4 minutes the machine hangs. I can still eject the CD but nothing else works, I have kept this for more than 6 hours but it stays hung

Any help is appreciated, i am at my wits end
