Wont charge

Hello,
My laptop will not charged when plugged in its a gateway i dont know the model its a vista and I plug it into the wall and theres a green light on the charger and I plug it in there no response to the computer and when i power it up it just flashes red light please help and Ive tried every wall in my house PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!





And theirs this weird Smell from the back of the computer like burnt battery

hi there,

if there is a smell om the laptop

then there must be something that has been burnt

either a capacitor or the battery itself

you need to take it to a qualified electronic technician

and get it repaired
