Ipod Itunes to Laptop...NEED HELP

Hello,
I have problem with my Itunes from Ipod to my Laptop Itunes.....I just download the latest Itunes on my laptop, but I cant transfer the Ipod songs to the Laptop, but I can only transfer the songs from the Laptop to the Ipod, but if I do this all my songs will be gone.....How can I solve this because I have 1000's of songs in my Ipod...I NEED HELP.....and I use Windows Vista.....I be happy if u help me....

As you found itunes will NOT transfer songs from the ipod to the computer. You will need a 3rd party program to do the transfer. One program I found is at this web site:

There are also may free programs I suggest you Google "ipod transfer programs"
