Downloding thing is missing

Hello,
I'm dowloading file from the internet, the process is looking good but after finish the file is gone. What is actually happened? is this because of virus or something? this problem is just appear because everything is ok before. i'm using vista and firefox. Please help me... tq

Dear Pop,

Get to options which should be in the Tools menu of the browser that you are using.

Get on the main menu. You will have the location of where the downloaded files are stored.

Try looking for the downloaded files over the specified location.

Yet if this is not the problem that you are having, just save the file while downloading.

Opening only will not be saving the file. You might have access to it but as soon as you close it, you will not get it anymore on your PC.
