Unable to download from the internet

Hello,
When I try to download a program from the internet, the download box flashes for a second and then nothing happens. Can you please explain to me why this is happening, and how do I fix it?

Dear Sir,

There are many download links online which don't work properly.

This is a normal issue of downloads with some particular sites.

Try getting to other sites and downloading, it will work.
