Fully Recover with External DVD/CD Drive

Hello,
I have a Toshiba P25-s509 with an internal cd/dvd drive that no longer work even when replaced the hardware. I need to Fully Recover the computer, but only have an external cd/dvd drive. I've tried changing the BIOS to start with External Drives, but just don't know what else to do...Please HELP me!

you wan to recover to factory default or format the laptop?

please give more information
