Firefox problem loading www sites

Hello, Had my computer worked on because IE8 would not load any non-secure "www" sites. Will load secure sites "https" sites. I wanted IE8 removed and IE7 put back on. Computer store said they could not remove IE8.
they insalled Modzilla Firefox to try out instead of using IE8. When IO got computer home, the same problem still persisted. Both IE8 and Modzilla Firefox will not load any "www" sites. Please help

Dear Sir,

This is normal for there may be some possibilities that

your PC gets infected. You should deactivate your

firewalls in order to solve the problem.
