Still need help with ethernet driver

Hello, for some reason my XP windows desktop has an Ethernet port (just the 1), and when i plug in my broadband Hub, the computer doesn't recognize the Ethernet cable , cos i don't have a driver installed. Can someone tell me a way i can install it. (preferably a link to a site where i can download it straight from)

I went to the Dell support website and install both the R56237 and R56238 but the system still says I do not have the ethernet driver. Please help
