Hello,
i have problem with my acer aspire 3680 the wifi did not work after i reformat my laptop.i stil dont know wat chipset installed in mined. who can help with this is highly appreciated.many thanks.

Most likely you have a Atheros AR5xxxx in your Acer 3680.

There should be a sticker on the underside our Notebook which should give some info about it's wifi adapter.

Otherwise use a System Information Tool like,
