Creating Recovery discs

Hello,
i have recently purchased a sony vaio laptop. I started using the computer without creating a recovery disc so far for a month. Now i have 30GB of personal files in my documents . If i have to make a recovery discs for my laptop, do i have to delete all my personnal files and softwares installed after default status. Or if recovery discs doesnt save any files from my documents ,,,, Please help me as i can make a recovery disc only once ,,,,,

hi there,
you don't have to delete any personal files
and nothing will be deleted also but it will
create the recovery disk with factory defaults
only like windows,drivers and office trial
