Using toshiba recovery disk freezes

Hello,
I have had problems with my m45 satellite laptop. It kept shutting down and showing a blue screen - NTFS fail physical memory dump.
I finally decided to restore to factory settings with my recovery disks. It goes through the restore process until it says remove any cd and press any key to restart.
After I do that, it shows the toshiba screen and then freezes when Microsoft XP window comes up. Help Help

The message "NTFS fail physical memory dump" indicates you have a physical problem with the hard drive. I think you will need to replace it.
