There might be some files missing that is causing this problem. I will be advising to uninstall it and
reinstall it for good functionality. However more precise information about the problem will be
helpful, that is, whether WMP is refusing to open or refusing to play any song or still just no sound.
Please be more accurate about the problem that you are having in order for us to give you a better
solution.
