how to cook a meal in the sims 3 blackberryClosed

Hello,
Ok so i have the sims 3 the in my blackberry curve and I know that to cook you need to press 4 or 6 and then press five to bring them down.  But now, there is 3 bars and I do not know how to cook with it. What buttons do you press on the blackberry curve to lower the bars so the food does not boil over?

you have to scroll with the ball and click before the line fills up
