Hello,
i use a sony 1.8 inch mp4 player and i upgaraded its firmware. after this my player is all completely dead. it doesnt show up on computer or it doesnt switch on . i have tried several firmware before it goes to complete dead one.

hi there,

install older versions of firmware

then remove the battery and let it idle for few hours

time to let it reset all

then resolder the battery respecting polarity
