Wireless not working

Hello,
I have reinstalled my laptop and am not able to connect to wireless ever since.I was able to connect to it before reinstalling.I didnt have the driver cd so I downloaded a few from the net .Everything is working now except the wireless.There is not wireless icon and no wireless in the network connections window.
Intel atom n270 chipset
Please inform me as soon as possible if you have a solution.
