Sound dosent work on my computer

Hello,i have a problem with my sound on my e machines when i was doing the system update it froze that's when i lost the sound

is there anything i can do

hi there,

check in device manager if its still present

then type msconfig in run

select start normally restart to apply effects

or make a system restore before installing updates

or re install driver if missing
