4GB Sandisk is no longer read in any computer

Hello,

I downloaded 120 photos of 160. The last 40 can be displayed on my digital camera, but when I place the
disk in my laptop or PC at home, it shows 40 gray squares, but no photo. I took it to the Best Buy store, they tried and nothing, I know they are on the card, but no one seems to know how to download them off the 4GB Sandisk card. The geek squad at Best Buy said for $99.00 they would do it.

What do you think, I am a photo fanatic, I need these photos and wondered is there another alternative before I spend the $99.00?? Please help me!!
