Sandisk cruzer blade 8gb pen drive

Dear sir,
My flash drive could format.
The srror message comes to on device media write protected and The disk write is protected.

Please help me.

I am using windows 7,
unfortunately it doesnt work,when I navigate to the path mentioned,i dont see storagedevicepolicies after control.
it shows only control/storage and white protection on the right pane.
Kindly help.

Hi,
I had the same problem.
What worked for me is,
I booted my computer in safe mode and goto run type diskmgmt.msc and right clik on the usb drive clik format..
Have a gud luk
