Hello,
I have two identical laptops (Dell Inspiron 600M) but one has a virus. The one with the virus has two updated memory chips that I would like to put into the other laptop. Does the virus infect those memory cards? If so, how do I determine if they are clean?
I am running Avast antivirus because Norton has not helped much. I have tried boot-time scan, full scan, memory scan...everything and I can't get the virus out so I am just going to switch to my other laptop, but want the increased memory moved over.
Thank you.
