Desktop properties not working

Hello,
my system window xp. viruses attack in my system. i am cleared my viruses.
on that day my desktop properties is not working. i not connect the internet connection.
how to resolve the this problem

Dear Priya,

This might imply that there have been some corrupted files

on your system and hence I would advise you to have the

disk formatted in order for it to function properly.
