Match and index

ive been struggling the entire morning to figure out a formula.

i have two sheets, i want to match columnD on sheet2 to columnA in sheet1 but at the same time i need columnBs data in sheet1 to be dropped in the formula column in sheet2..

=INDEX(Sheet1!A:A,(MATCH(D3,Sheet2!D:D,0)))

this is the formula i came two but its not giving me what i want :(
