Altec speaker system to creative xfi

Hello,
I have a Dell XPS 720 with a Creative x-fi sound card with 5 connectors marked ORANGE(MIC),GREEN,GREY,ORONGE,BLACK and a optical in and an optical out connector.

I am trying to connect my Altec lansing system with a sub woofer, two front speakers and two surround speakers. This has connections on rear of sub woofer as follows.
Black - surround
Green - front
SPDIF - DIGITAL
Main front right speaker
Main front left speaker

Surround right speaker
Surroend left speaker

The problem is what ever I try to do to configure it I can only get the front speakers to work.

Can anyone help as I have given up the ghost on what to try.
