Sound problem

Hello,
my computer was infected by variuos virues.my software was not properly working then i disite to instal xp on the next drive.but when i instal xp there was no sound .i go to control panel in n sound n audio i can not select any thing.my computer detail; intel(r)pentium(r)m,processor-2.00Hz 2.00GHz,0.99gb of ram.plz tell me wts things i have to do

HI

I have installed legacy audio device for my mother board model 945gclf but it is not supporting... can u pl provide me any solution
