Pen drive not functioning

I HAVE A PENDRIVE (Transcend 4GB).i WAS USEING SINCE LAST 1 YEAR. NOW SUDDENLY WHILE INCERTING IN USB PORT OF DESKTOP COMPUTER (WindowXP), GETTING A MESSAGE AS BELOW

isys.exe - No Disk- There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk in to the drive /Device /Harddisk2/DR14”

Please do advice How to over-come this problem .

Dear Sir,

This could be a problem with the USB port. Please try opening

it by using another port. Also format it if ever you find that there

is a corrupted file within. Confirm the matter for obtaining

further help.

Sir ,
I have tried several times with other USB port & other Desktop as well. But no response is being received yet. Pen drive is very well detected but a massage is always displayd "“isys.exe - No Disk- There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk in to the drive /Device /Harddisk2/DR14” Therefore suggest me the remedy.
