Hello,
I have an acer laptop with a dead battery (power supply always connected), yesterday while the laptop was ON the electricity went off which caused the laptop to go off too. right after that i tried to turn it on and what happened is that windows XP session did not start up. it shows only the background picture and nothing else
i noticed also that the hard disk led doesnt flash, i pressed CRTL+ALT+ DLT and found that Processor is 100% busy but none of the processus is active ( all are in 00 ).
i did this :

-chkdisk ( no error)
-recover by pressing F10 (acer's option) but not working
- safemode not working

please is there anything else i can do to fix this? is it a RAM problem or a hard disk issue?

your assistance will be highly apreciated

thank you

hi there,

right click on desktop> properties

desktop>

customize desktop>

restore your icons

and restart your pc

then make a system restore if needed or even repair windows

Thanks
