Sound stopped workin when Installed Windows 7

Hello,

I installed an upgrade first to Vista then to Windows 7, Now my sounds are not working and all my games seem to be running slow. I have a Dell Optiplex 280. I also have the magic jack phone hooked up and found out that if I am on the phone when someone is on the computer I can hear the computer sounds through the phone.

Any help or suggestions would be welcome

hi there,

update the sound drivers from device manager

or download and reinstall compatible driver for windows 7
