Need help to get my laptop back on the netwrk

Hello,
I have DELL Inspiron 1520. On the home network there are 3 other laptops. Till last week I was able to print from my laptop & share files on the computer. Due to spyware I had to format my laptop & reinstall everything. Now I am able to connect to the internet but cannot see any other computers on the network. Please help me to bring my laptop on the network so that i may be able to use the resources again.

umm i cant remember to much about XP lol but i kno with vista when i reimage my OS i have to enable "Network Discovery" and "Folder Sharing" in the Netowrk adn Sharing Center. Sorry i cant be more specific for windows XP but that might help.
