My sound won't play!

My sound was working perfectly fine yesterday but somehow it won't work. My drivers are updated. I am using a Dell Latitude D600(it is very old]). And when i play songs or whatever there are no error messages. I am not sure if it is or hardware problem.Pls help!

Dear Sir,

Please check in the Sound panel if the sound has not been muted

firstly. If still the sound is not muted check whether the drivers that

you are using are the right ones.
