Cant access file from hard disc

Hello,
I have a 250 gb Transcend hard disc.
i cant access some file from there.
when i open properties the space used and free are as usual (62 gb free 1709 gb used) but only 10 gb data i can access. its not hidden.
i hv used chkdsk and sm other techniques but i cudnt fix the bug.
please help...

hi there,

please give correct information as your disk is of 250 Gb how is it possible that 1709 Gb used?
