Hello,
Few weeks ago i bought a new computer.
this time i also got Creative SBS 5.1 Channel Speakers and Windows 7 installed in it.
Now there is no option in Windows 7 to select 5.1 speakers like in Win XP. I tried to find updates and drivers but i couldnt. My computer seller told me that i will have to install XP back so that i could use the surround sound.
Although i do not know of the sound card, i just know that my computer has some Asus motherboard in it.
Please help

Dear Jaideep,

The OS actually automatically detects it and sets it to the

appropriate one. You won't be able to change it under the

use of this operating system.

Thank you.

Dear Jaideep,

You could create another partition and install XP over it.

This will hence let you keep Windows 7 OS as well as

fix the surround problem.

Thank you.
